Parametric Representation
Data Visualization

Location: HHS 111
Date + Time: Sun, 2017.11.12, 12-3pm
Instructor: Leland Jobson

Description: Students will learn how to create information rich visualizations, from diagrams to projection drawings, quickly and clearly. We will control representational properties such as thickness and color parametrically, automate annotations and line work with data, and decorate Rhino objects with data for future representations.

Software:
Rhino 5
Grasshopper
Human (gh plug-in)
Lunchbox (gh plug-in)

Requirements: Participants are required to bring a laptop with Rhino 5.0 and Grasshopper (including any additional plug-ins) installed on their laptops with a power strip or extension cords.
