Maxwell VR and Animation

Description: This workshop will be contemporarily exploring and exploiting the lenses and output types inherent within the Maxwell Rendering platform.
The workshop will introduce a series of workflows involving Maxwell – a rendering software engine – in order to output for virtual reality, immersive imagery, support with Google cardboard devices. It will also introduce animation-lite output via single Maxwell renderings.
It will cover topics of stereoscopic imagery, panoramic imagery, app and web hosted content, mobile device visualization, google cardbaord, rendering techniques and keyframing of multi-light for animation output.
Software:
Google Chrome, Rhino 5.0, Maxwell Render, IrisVR Mobile Viewer
Hardware:
Smartphone, Laptop
Requirements: Participants are required to bring a laptop with Rhino 5.0 and Maxwell installed. A smartphone is also recommended, but not needed.
