Environmental Analysis

Description: This workshop will introduce Ladybug – an environmental analysis plugin for Grasshopper that allows designers to make environmentally-conscious design decisions. The exercises will cover a number of Ladybug basics, including weather data visualization, sun path and sky dome visualization, sunlight hours and insolation analyses, and view analysis. We’ll also look at a performance driven design workflow that demonstrates how to productively pair parametric design and environmental analysis.

Requirements: Participants are required to bring a laptop with Rhino 5.0 installed on their laptops and download and install the latest version of grasshopper and additional plug-ins.
